Directions from International Airports

There are two international airports around Tokyo. Depending on your arrival airport, please follow the following directions to reach the workshop site and Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington hotel. Both limousine bus and train are available.

Several train routes are available to reach the workshop venue. The main train lines connecting airports to the workshop venue are represented on the following map. Click to download the printable PDF version

In the following sections, we also propose a route from each airport.

From Narita Airport

By train

It takes about 90 minutes to reach Miraikan or the hotel by train. The total charge of the proposed route is ¥2,930

  1. At the airport, follow directions to the Keisei line and buy a Skyliner ticket to Nippori (¥2,400) at the Keisei Skyliner counter. Get into the Skyliner train and get off the train at Nippori.
  2. Follow directions to the JR station, buy a ¥160 ticket at the ticket machine and get into the Yamanote line on platform 10. Get off the train at Shimbashi.
  3. Exit the JR station by follow directions to the Yurikamome line. Here, buy a ticket at ¥370 then ride the train until Fune-no-kagakukan for the workshop venue, or until Kokusaitenjijoseimon for the hotel.

By limousine bus

There is a limousine bus from Narita Airport to the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel roughly every 2 hours from 08:45 to 18:50. The fare is ¥2700 and travel time should be around 75 minutes. From Haneda Airport

By train

It takes about 55 minutes to reach Miraikan or the hotel by train by the following proposed route. The total charge is ¥970.

  1. At the Haneda airport, follow directions to the Tokyo-Monorail, buy a ¥470 ticket at the vending machine and ride the monorail until Hamamatsucho station, the last stop.
  2. Follow directions to the JR station, buy a ¥130 ticket then go to platform 2 for the Yamanote line. Ride the yamanote train for just one station until Shimbashi station.
  3. Exit the JR station by follow directions to the Yurikamome line. Here, buy a ticket at ¥370 then ride the train until Fune-no-kagakukan for the workshop venue, or until Kokusaitenjijoseimon for the hotel.

By limousine bus

There is a limousine bus from Haneda Airport to the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel. The fare is ¥600 and travel time should be around 40 minutes.
